Yesterday I attended Gondola Day in Belgium, which is Belgium’s biggest annual retail event, and this year’s event marked the beginning of a greater focus on bringing worldwide retail best practice to their membership.
Organiser Pierre-Alexandre Billiet secured speakers from Microsoft, Neilson, Procter & Gamble and Deliveroo.
The event was a sell-out with over 500 attendees and was held at a cinema complex hence the enormous screens, which worked brilliantly and created real impact for the speakers’ presentations.
My session focused on how to integrate content strategy, planning and delivery into retail organisations. I shared insights about retailers in the UK who are investing in this now, and went through a customer-mission focused model for content planning.
