Throw back to April when Chloë Thomas from the eCommerce Masterplan and I were featured on Tim Flagg‘s panel discussion at Internet Retailing at the NEC.

Tim ran a great session in front of a full house, giving Chloë and I the chance to go into depth on some key issues around digital content.

Here’s an overview of Tim’s questions and the areas the session focussed on:

  • What is product content and what role does it have in eCommerce?
  • Mobile merchandising – how do you take a mobile-first approach to product content
  • What data drives the decision making process when you are setting your content strategy?
  • How do customer missions featured in the content planning process?
  • How do you optimise your images within the site to improve performance

The session was a lively one, and as always, I was relieved that there was plenty of questions and participation from the audience, demonstrating the growing interest of retailers in this area.
